AUCD (Association of University Centers on Disabilities), an association based in D.C. asked us again in 2012 to develop their conference materials for their annual event.
The theme for 2012 was Innovating Today, Shaping Tomorrow: Promising Practices in Research, Policy, Education, and Service. We developed the conference logo, the website imagery and the programs and awards booklets. We also helped them develop the images used on the conference app for both Apple and Android devices.
The theme needed to convey the connections within the network of centers. We developed the theme utilizing the networks and its corresponding connections as a metaphor for connections in the brain. This tied together the theme with an analogy that conference attendees would find appealing and relevant.
